Dana Marineau is an award-winning marketing executive with deep expertise in brand positioning, marketing creativity and consumer loyalty. In her role as chief marketing officer at Rakuten Rewards, Marineau is responsible for strengthening Rakuten’s consumer recognition as the leading cash back portal and launching new innovative shopper loyalty programs.

 

Most recently, Marineau was vice president of brand, creative and communications at Credit Karma where she rebuilt the company’s position to become a champion for the financial progress of its 100 million members. Previously known for offering credit scores, Credit Karma transformed under her leadership into a personal finance platform offering consumer access to solutions for saving, taxes filing, personal loans, auto insurance and credit cards.

 

Prior to Credit Karma, Marineau was a marketing executive at Electronic Arts for more than 15 years, leading global advertising, design and creative for video game brands including FIFA, Madden NFL, Need for Speed and Battlefield. Some of her most notable achievements at Electronic Arts include an award-winning revitalization of the Madden NFL brand that added 2 million users; and leading EA Sports’ evolution from a traditional consumer packaged goods orientation to an entertainment brand spanning physical and digital elements.

 

Dana currently lives in San Francisco with her husband and two sons. She is an avid basketball fan and cheers the loudest for the Golden State Warriors and the Blue Devils of Duke University, her alma mater.

Julie Van Ullen is the Manager Director of US Sales for Rakuten Rewards. In her role, Julie oversees the growth and success of all merchant, agency, and network partners as well as overall site monetization opportunities for Rakuten partners. Prior to here role with Rakuten Rewards, Julie was the Managing Director for North America for Rakuten Advertising where she as responsible for the commercial organization in selling and supporting the holistic suite of Rakuten Marketing’s affiliate, media, and performance marketing solutions for brands, retailers, and agencies. Prior to joining Rakuten, Julie was the Vice President of Digital, for FreeWheel as well as having served as Vice President of Publisher Solutions at the premium ad exchange, OpenX. Prior, Julie served as Vice President of Member Services at the IAB where she is now sits on the prestigious Board of Directors.
