• Do I need the Zoom application to join the meeting from my computer?
  • Yes, you do need to have Zoom downloaded on your computer to view the webinar.
• Do I need the Zoom application to join the meeting from my smartphone?
  • Yes, you do. You will be prompted to download the Zoom application when you access the webinar link. See the options available here based on phone type.
• Zoom is not working on my computer or phone, can I dial-in?
  • Yes, if you are unable to join via the Zoom desktop, mobile or web application on your browser, you can still listen to the webinar by dialing in (find more below).

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR A FREE ZOOM ACCOUNT

1. Go to this URL to sign up for your free Zoom account.
2. Enter your email address and click "Sign Up, it’s Free."
3. You will be asked to enter your date of birth for verification purposes. Enter your date of birth and click continue.
4. You will now be asked to verify your email address, then click confirm.
5. The next page will include a note on how to access your activation email (and re-send it if you didn’t receive it).
6. Open your inbox and locate the activation email and click the blue "Activate Account" button.
7. This will open the Zoom sign up page in your browser. They will ask if you are signing up on behalf of a school, click “No” and continue.
8. Now enter your first name and surname, along with your password.
9. The second step will prompt you to add colleagues at this time. Click "Skip this step" to move on to the final step.
10. The final step will prompt you to start a test meeting. Instead, click "Go to My Account". You should already be signed in on your browser.
11. Now you have successfully signed up for Zoom.
